Chesapeake Energy Arena
Originally opened in 2002, the Chesapeake Energy Arena has served as the home court to the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder since their relocation in 2008. The arena located in downtown Oklahoma City seats over 19,000 of the NBA's loudest fans – notorious for creating a "college-like" atmosphere on game day.
The arena also plays host to different events such as concerts, conventions, and civic events – as well as the temporary home for fellow NBA team, the New Orleans Hornets, during hurricane Katrina in 2006.
Other versatile attractions include professional wrestling, bull riding, NCAA tournament games, and Ultimate Fighting Championship matches as well.
Catching a game at Chesapeake Energy Arena is just one of 24 things to do in Oklahoma in 24 hours!
