The Golden Driller
Standing at 76 feet, the Golden Driller is an iconic landmark of Tulsa in northern Oklahoma. Constructed in 1953, the golden oil worker weighs 43,500 pounds – making it the nation’s fourth tallest statue.
An Oklahoma State Monument, the Golden Driller is found at the entrance to the Tulsa Expo Square. The Golden Driller oversees Tulsa events like the Tulsa Flea Market, the Cowboys of Color Rodeo, and of course, the Tulsa State Fair.
