Natural Falls State Park
Nestled along the Oklahoma/Arkansas border near the town of West Siloam Springs, Natural Falls State Park is a cozy, yet beautiful state park, featuring 120 acres of maple, chinquapin, and white oak forest. The park’s primary attraction is the 77-foot tall waterfall – a true gem of northeastern OK’s Ozark Highlands.
Does this spot look familiar? If so, it’s likely because it was featured in the film “Where the Red Fern Grows.” Other park highlights include four and a half miles of trails, an observation deck overlooking the falls, and the on-site Red Fern Reunion Center available for group functions.
