Held over Memorial Day Weekend, the Poteau Frontier Rodeo takes place in the southern Oklahoma town of Poteau. Originally known as the Phil Gardenhire PRCA Rodeo, this annual event is held at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds and produced by Daivd Bailey Rodeo.
The Poteau Frontier Rodeo features traditional rodeo events like Mutton Bustin’ and of course the PRCA Rodeo Competition, but also some Poteau specific events like the Girl of the Frontier competition.
