Visiting Tulsa & Northern Oklahoma

Discover all you can during your next winter visit to the Tulsa area of northern Oklahoma. Charming and pleasant cities like Broken Arrow, Grove, and Locust Grove will set the backdrop for an excellent adventure. And even more impressive list of events, festivals, attractions, and more await you during the winter months. Plan a tour of the Tulsa area soon and see for yourself how fun it can be.

Any visit to northeastern Oklahoma should include an extended stay in Tulsa. With a wide range of excellent, can’t-miss attractions, and welcoming locals, Tulsa is sure to yield unforgettable days of fun and adventure. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center hosts and stages a number of different shows throughout the year, and the Gilcrease Museum is sure to be a hit with the whole group.

Tulsa is also home to both Oral Roberts University and the University of Tulsa – feel free embark on a very edifying campus tour, or you can enjoy a college football game late this year.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane play their home football games at H.A. Chapman Stadium, and this fall you can see them in action against the East Carolina Pirates on November 5th, and the Cincinnati BearCats on November 25th  – their final home game of the 2016 season.

When your visit to Tulsa is slated for early 2017, be sure to visit the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and check out the John H. Williams Theatre within. You’ll have a chance to see opera singer Nathan Gunn live on stage on January 22nd starting at 3 p.m. And through February 5th, the TPAC will host live productions of Peter and the Starcatcher, a brilliant play written by Rick Elice.

One of the premier concert events of early 2017 will take place at the BOK Center in Tulsa. On February 21st you can see the internationally recognized Twenty One Pilots live on stage starting at 7 p.m. They’re touring the country as part of their Emotional Roadshow tour.
